The World Youth Forum (WYF) announced on Saturday the end of registration for its fourth edition which will be held in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh between 10 and 13 January 2022, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

Registration for the fourth edition of the WYF was extended until the end of last week, due to high demand.

The forum, which held three editions in 2017, 2018, 2019, aims to bring together the world’s young people in a bid to promote dialogue and discuss development issues. It also aims to send a message of peace and prosperity from Egypt to the world.

The WYF is an opportunity to interact with major decision-makers and thinkers around the world. It is also an opportunity to get to know a diverse group of promising young people from different countries around the world, who have dreams, will and determination to make a real change in tomorrow’s world.

The fourth edition of the forum was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The main themes of this year’s edition will be post-Covid-19 impacts, climate change, social security, human rights, entrepreneurship, technology, 5G networks, digital transformation, E-learning, the environment, and the future of energy, according to the official website of the forum.
