Tunisia keen on boosting ties with Egypt in different economic domains: Tunisian industry min.

TUNIS  –  Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy Nayla Nawira al-Qanji asserted the depth of the Tunisian-Egyptian ties and bilateral ties in the different economic domains.

During her meeting with a delegation of Egyptian businessmen on the sidelines of the 17th round of the Egyptian-Tunisian joint committee on Thursday, Qanji said it is necessary to accelerate industrial co-operation and trade exchange between Egypt and Tunisia.

She asserted the keenness of the Tunisian government and businessmen on intensifying the investment opportunities and providing all the potentials to implement them.

The meeting tackled means to push joint investment in light of the transformations witnessed in the region and their direct impact on the economic conditions resulting from coronavirus pandemic and the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

The meeting also took up the fields of co-operation in different sectors especially the sectors of food industries.
