CAIRO – Egyptian Transport Minister Kamel el-Wazir said Wednesday that the House of Representatives plays an important role in supporting national projects that provide eased commuter services to citizens.
In a meeting with some representatives from the Delta City of Damietta, Wazir stressed the importance of fruitful cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities to upgrade services.
He posted them on his Ministry’s strategy to implement road, railway and maritime transport projects in the Delta city.
Work is ongoing in Damietta in line with a preset plan, a deadline, and international standards, the minister noted.
