Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayyeb greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Armed Forces and Egyptian people on the occasion of the anniversary of the 6th of October War victory.
October War was not just a battle to liberate the land of Sinai, but it was a timeless Egyptian epic, affirmed Tayyeb in a statement on Wednesday.
The 6th of October War victory will remain a defining moment in the history of Egypt, he affirmed.
Meanwhile, the grand imam called on inspiring these noble meanings in order to attain more victories and pursue work to preserve the achievements made during the era of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Al-Azhar, also, saluted the sons and families of the martyrs of the October War, who courageously sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland.
