CAIRO- Egyptian Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy lauded outstanding achievements of Egyptian Muay Thai national team that gained seven medals at the World Championships, currently being held in Kuala Lumpur.
The national team won a gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals.
The minister lauded all Egyptian players’ performance in the contest, along with their great contribution to the Egyptian sport.
Meantime, Sobhy underlined the political leadership great support to the sports sector in Egypt. It is the first time that the Pharaohs have officially participated in the world’s junior and youth championships.
