Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected this morning the Control and Follow-up Operations Center of the National Network for Emergency and Public Safety, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
During the inspection tour, the President listened to a detailed explanation about the centre, which applies the latest technological specifications. The center is an important component in strengthening the emergency system and public safety through rapid communication with various governorates, linking all emergency elements and vital facilities and receiving reports of all kinds.
The President also conducted a practical test through the Operations Centre as he made an actual call with the specialised operations rooms in the governorates of Suez, Ismailia, Port Said, South Sinai and Luxor.
The President was reassured by the governors regarding the procedures for activating the system in each governorate. He directed all authorities concerned to maintain full coordination in order to reach the goals of the system, especially the speed of dealing and responding to all kinds of emergencies and crises.
The President also directed the governors to constantly follow up on the markets during the holy month of Ramadan to ensure price controls and the provision of goods to citizens.
