Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, currently on a visit here, will have talks over breakfast with Republican leaders in the US House of Representatives for Kentucky, Texas, Ohio and South Carolina.
Sisi is also set to meet with Republican and Democratic members of an “Egypt’s friends” group in Congress, said presidential spokesman Bassam Rady on Wednesday.
At Washington Convention Centre, the Egyptian president will also have one-on-one talks with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Rady added.
Later in the day, Sisi will attend a banquet organized by US President Joe Biden at the White House in honor of African leaders taking part in the US-Africa summit, the spokesman further said.
Sisi is also scheduled to attend the closing session of the US-Africa Business Forum (USABF) in the presence of Biden, Rady added.
