Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi expressed his sincere congratulations to Liz Truss on her selection as UK Prime Minister, wishing her success in the performance of her new mission. “I look forward to working and co-operating with her to consolidate the historical bilateral relations between our two countries and for the interest of our two peoples and for world’s peace, security and stability,” President Sisi added.
“I should also thank former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson for his efforts in supporting Egyptian-British relations, and his role in strengthening co-operation between the two friendly countries and peoples,” the president said.
