PARIS – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived here Sunday to take part in a conference on Sudan and a Summit on Financing African Economies, slated for May 17, 18 respectively.
Attending the Paris Conference to support Sudanese transition, Sisi will highlight the need for the international community to support Sudan during this important and historical stage. He will also shed light on Egyptian efforts in this regard at the economic, political and security levels.
During the Summit on Financing African Economies, Sisi will stress the importance of enhancing international efforts to facilitate the integration of Africa into the global economy in such a way that would contribute to achieving economic growth amid coronavirus repercussions. He will also talk about technology transfer to African countries.
Sisi is scheduled to hold talks with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on bilateral relations and mutual coordination on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
He is also set to meet French officials as well as heads of some international French companies to discuss means of boosting bilateral cooperation in the economic, trade and investment fields.
The president will also meet with a number of heads of state and government to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international files of mutual concern.
