President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived on Thursday at the venue of the third Russia-Africa Summit in Moscow.
Sisi is scheduled to deliver Egypt’s speech to the summit, reaffirming Cairo’s commitment to strengthening its strategic relations with Moscow.
Presidency Spokesman Mohamed El-Shennawy said this is Sisi’s third participation in the Russia-Africa Summit.
He co-chaired the first summit, held in Sochi in October 2019 with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during Egypt’s presidency of the African Union. He also participated in the second summit, held in St Petersburg in 2023.
