Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic granted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday the Order of the Republic of Serbia in appreciation of the Egyptian president’s efforts and distinguished ties binding the two countries.
Earlier in the day, the Serbian president received president Sisi at the Serbian Presidential Palace.
An official reception ceremony was accorded to President Sisi upon his arrival and national anthems of the two countries were played.
The Egyptian president arrived in Belgrade on Tuesday on an official visit – the first of its kind – as part of friendly ties binding Egypt and Serbia.
