CAIRO – Egypt’s Minister of Emigration and Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi has said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s win of 2024 Presidential Election reaffirms Egyptian people’s confidence in their leadership and reflects firm persistence in pressing ahead with the current development process.

During a meeting Friday with Minister of Local Development Hisham Amna to discuss cooperation in a number of joint files, the minister of emigration stressed keenness on pursuing continued drives to keep in touch with Egyptian expatriates to meet all their needs and provide more incentives that would open the door for them to contribute to investment opportunities, within the course of progress down the road toward the New Republic, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Emigration and Expatriate Affairs.

Gendi praised all efforts exerted by the Ministry of Local Development across the various Egyptian governorates, citing the ministry’s efforts in organizing 2024 Presidential Election that all helped in rendering the process a success as it went on smoothly and safely, the statement said.

Meantime, She highlighted the Ministry of Local Development’s contribution in developing communities, especially in governorates exporting largest number of

illegal immigration and providing safe alternatives through enterprise development, it added.

For his part, the minister of local development stressed his ministry’s full support to traditional handicraft industries, in line with President Sisi’s directives to help generate more job outlets for a more decent life with better incomes for families, said the statement.
