Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Monday Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen currently on an official three-day visit to Cairo, said Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
The Danish prime minister visit coincides with the 65th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Upon her arrival at Cairo Airport, an official reception ceremony was held for the Danish Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation.
It is scheduled that Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Frederiksen will hold talks to discuss proposals to strengthen bilateral relations and advance economic co-operation in many areas of common interest between the two countries.
