CAIRO – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has praised the Egyptian farmers’ efforts to achieve food security for the State.
In a tweet on his official Twitter account, President Sisi expressed appreciation and respect for Egypt’s farmers nationwide.
The move comes on the occasion of National Farmers’ Day.
Sisi pointed out to his continued directives to the government to exert all possible efforts to support farmers, ensure a decent life for them and their families, enhance their incomes, and provide additional financial incentives to stimulate them to sell their production of crops to the government.
