Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has reviewed with Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad preparations for Egypt’s participation in the upcoming international climate conference (COP28), which will take place in the UAE from November 30 through December 12.
Fouad in the meeting earlier Sunday talked about the agenda of the conference, noting that Egypt will hand over the presidency of the conference to the UAE.
Egypt will highlight many success stories at the national level to handle climate change and deal with its repercussions for many sectors, the minister said.
She added that Egyptian efforts to implement smart green projects as part of a national initiative that covers the fields of energy, sustainable agriculture and waste management will also be underlined.
