Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli stressed keenness on periodically following up on the progress realized in projects serving people in various governorates.
He made the remarks during his inspection tour on Saturday of some development and service projects in Alexandria to follow up the progress realized so far.
He said that this falls within the framework of directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on following up the progress of the projects being implemented within the set timetable in order to develop the services offered to people.
The premier started his tour with inspecting the integrated strategic project for managing rainfall water in Alexandria.
Alexandria Governor Mohamed Sherif said the project -implemented by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority – falls within the framework of the president’s directives.
He noted that the project aims at finding solutions to curb the negative impact of the large amounts of rainfall water in the governorate over the past years as a result of climate change repercussions.
An official at the Armed Forces Engineering Authority – who is supervising the project – said three projects were finalized in three months in Alexandria districts of Shatbi, Cleopatra, and Loran to avoid the problem of piling rain water.
