Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly visited on Tuesday several leading international companies in Alexandria that have expanded their outsourcing and digital services centres in Egypt. The tour reflects the government’s commitment to supporting specialised outsourcing firms amid the sector’s continued growth.
Egypt currently hosts around 252 companies operating through 282 dedicated centres, including 177 global firms. By mid-2026, more than 195,000 professionals were employed in outsourcing and digital service exports.
Madbouly described outsourcing as one of Egypt’s most promising economic sectors, stressing his personal interest in supporting companies in this field. He praised the skills of Egyptian youth, which global firms can leverage across diverse technological specialisations.
He noted that the expansion of world-class technology and outsourcing companies in Egypt, through new investments and increased employment, underscores the country’s position as a global hub for outsourcing services. This success, he added, is the result of state efforts to create a favourable business environment and invest in digital skills, enabling professionals to deliver services in multiple languages at competitive costs.
