Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli followed up on adopted measures to promote inbound tourism to Egypt.

This came during Madbouli’s meeting on Wednesday with Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Abbas and Tourism and Antiquities Minister Ahmed Issa.

During the meeting, Madbouli affirmed that the State’s continued support to the tourism sector, pointing out to the facilities provided, which mainly aim to increase inbound tourism to Egypt’s tourist destinations.

Issa, meanwhile, reviewed ongoing efforts to prepare a long-term national strategy for Egypt’s tourism until 2028. He further said that Egypt seeks to increase the rate of inbound tourism through improving the investment climate in the tourism sector.

Several events and proceedings are scheduled to be held soon, topped by COP27 Climate Conference, a matter which would contribute to increasing inbound tourism, added the tourism minister.

Egypt is one of the few tourist destinations in the world that is characterised by the diversity of its tourism products, he went on to say.

For his part, the civil aviation minister pointed out to the ongoing efforts exerted by his ministry to reduce flight prices and provide more facilities in a bid to boost tourism.
