Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala Saeed said the volume of public investments in Beni Suef Governorate hit 4.3 billion Egyptian pounds in plan of year 2022/2023 to carry out 259 development projects, with an increase of 13 percent against the previous year.
Other projects will be implemented as well through “Decent Life” project aimed at developing the Egyptian Countryside, she said.
That came in a report by the Planning and Economic Development Ministry about the “Citizen Investment Plan” for Beni Suef in Fiscal Year 2022/2023.
The report indicated that investments worth EGP 1.2 billion Egyptian pounds were directed to the transportation sector, at 28 percent, followed by the high education sector, with a value of EGP 885 million Egyptian pounds or 20.6 percent.
The investments in the local development sector amount to EGP 658.9 million Egyptian pounds at a rate of 5.3 percent, according to it.
