CAIRO – Chairman of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) Mohamed Fayek lauded on Monday a step taken by the state to release a group of those held in pretrial detention.
In a statement on Monday, Fayek said that these measures aim at improving the condition of human rights and reforms in Egypt.
The release came before declaring the national strategy for human rights during the coming period to promote the steps taken by the state to improve human rights, Fayek said.
Fayek also lauded Egypt’s achievements in face of challenges of combating terror and coronavirus.
