Minister of State for Military Production Salah Soliman Gomblat said that the ministry is committed to implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to maximize the value of state-owned assets, strengthen national production capabilities, and expand the use of locally made products.
This came as he chaired on Monday a series of meetings with senior ministry officials, executives of the National Authority for Military Production, and heads of affiliated companies.
The meetings reviewed ongoing projects and new investment opportunities. Officials also discussed plans to make better use of underutilized land and assets.
They examined ways to upgrade production lines, improve efficiency, and increase the use of existing production capacity.
He said the ministry is pursuing an integrated strategy to improve the economic use of its land, assets, and production facilities. The strategy, he explained, includes exploring investment opportunities and building strategic partnerships with the private sector. The goal is to increase production, exports, and economic returns.
The minister instructed officials to prepare comprehensive technical and economic studies for all proposed projects.
He also called for clear implementation timetables and regular progress reviews to ensure the planned objectives are achieved.
