Minister of State for Military Production, Engineer Mohamed Salah Eddin Mustafa, conducted abrupt visits to Qaha Chemical Industries Company (Military Factory 270) and Benha Company for Electronic Industries (Factory 144) to assess operational performance and ensure excellence.

During his inspection of Qaha Chemical Industries, Minister Salah reviewed the company’s compliance with production schedules, safety protocols, and ministerial directives. He conducted a thorough examination of both the raw material and finished goods warehouses, assessed inventory management practices, and inspected production lines manufacturing military products, including primers, smoke projectiles, and sound generators, the Military Production Ministry said in a statement issued on Sunday.

Qaha Chemical Industries leverages its surplus production capacity to manufacture civilian products such as car batteries and adhesives, while also contributing to major national initiatives, including water treatment projects and the “Decent Life” initiative, the statement said.

In discussions with company officials, the minister stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships with local and international entities, adopting advanced manufacturing technologies, and maximising domestic capabilities to support Egypt’s sustainable development goals.

At Benha Electronic Industries, the minister inspected production facilities and warehouses, underscoring the need for robust marketing strategies and strict adherence to project timelines.

Benha Electronic Industries plays a critical role in supplying advanced electronic systems to the Armed Forces, including wireless communication devices, radar systems, and electronic jamming stations. The company also supports the civilian sector with products such as solar-powered devices, LED lighting solutions, personal computers, and security technologies.

Minister Salah emphasised the importance of elevating quality standards, developing resources, expanding scientific research initiatives, and increasing the proportion of locally manufactured components.
