MARSA MATROUH, Egypt – Marsa Matrouh International Airport has received the first charter flight from Romania, with 146 tourists on board, Marsa Matrouh Governor Khaled Shoaib announced on Friday.
In a statement, Shoaib added that the number of charter flights arriving from Europe at Marsa Matrouh airport since the start of the summer tourist season is estimated at 67. They have carried 1,816 tourists, he noted.
Most of the tourists who arrived are from Italy and Poland, he said.
