Emigration Minister Nabila Makram held a meeting with director and head of the Center for Strategy and Performance at the University of Cambridge Mohamed Khater on the possibility of establishing a data analysis centre in Egypt in co-operation with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT).
In a statement on Tuesday, Makram said the meeting aimed at maximising the benefit from the expertise of our experts abroad along with following up on the outcome of “Egypt Can with Industry” conference.
The statement also noted that the agreement with Khater and ASRT would support the state’s efforts towards digital transformation and financial inclusion.
Meanwhile, Khater asserted the importance of investing in technology especially the financial technology, adding that co-operation with the Emigration Ministry and ASRT would comprise in its first phase training youth cadres that could deal with modern data analysis and search engines.
