Egypt is now playing a pivotal role in the climate change issue, affirmed representatives of international companies and main sponsors of COP27 UN Climate Change Conference.
During their meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, held on the sidelines of COP27 Conference, participants affirmed their aspiration to join the private sector climate alliance, which is due to be announced soon by the Egyptian government.
They also expressed their delight to participate in organising COP27, saying that such event represents a perfect opportunity to gather all global companies under one roof.
They also extended gratitude to the Egyptian government over its crucial role in rendering this conference successful.
For his part, Madbouli extended thanks and appreciation to all the participants and sponsors, who have contributed to the conference success.
The Egyptian government will remain committed to implementing its pledges towards the climate-related issues, he affirmed.
