Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli reviewed on Monday a report prepared by Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Sayed Al Quseir on an initiative launched by the Egyptian Poultry Association to reduce the prices and poultry and eggs between 10 and 15 per cent.
The minister said the initiative comes within the framework of the political leadership’s directives to reduce the prices and ease burdens on citizens.
According to the initiative, a kilo of live poultry will be sold at LE95 while a carton of eggs will be sold at LE145.
