National Council for Women (NCW) Maya Morsy on Monday lauded the high-quality of handicrafts made by Egyptian women, which are designed in line with the cutting-edge global standards.
She added that the council attaches great significance to the training women on Egypt’s traditional handmade crafts, in order to secure job opportunities for women seeking to improve their living standards.
Morsi made the remarks on the sidelines of launching a training workshop organized by the NCW to qualify and hone the skills of 35 women in a set of handicrafts, glass art and leather products, as a part of the ongoing efforts to empower women nationwide.
