Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hany Sueilam reviewed on Wednesday with Egyptian Ambassador to South Sudan Motaz Mostafa the progress of the Egyptian-South Sudanese development projects in the water resources field.
In a press release, the Water Resources and Irrigation Ministry said that the projects implemented by Egypt in South Sudan aim at serving South Sudanese citizens and are considered as successful model of cooperation between Egypt and African states.
The minister added that Egypt had implemented a number of development projects in South Sudan including the establishment of groundwater stations to provide drinking water for citizens.
He also added that Egypt was keen to build the capabilities of South Sudanese cadres through various training courses.
