BANHA – Qalubiya Governor Abdel Hamid el Haggan formed an engineering committee to inspect the footbridge that collapsed on the agricultural road from both directions to prepare a full report on the incident.
Haggan made the remarks early Thursday while inspecting the footbridge, west of Shobra el Kheima district.
The footbridge collapsed when an excavator-carrying vehicle collided with it, the governor said in statements, adding that no casualties were reported.
