CAIRO- Local Development Minister Hisham Amna directed governors to provide 94 plots of land across the nation to serve school feeding program in preparation for the new academic year 2023/2024.
The move comes as part of the State’s keenness on implementing school feeding program in a way that guarantees safety of all school meals, the minister said in a statement on Friday.
He said all chosen plots should meet technical specifications to serve as warehouses where school meals can be properly stored and distributed.
He added that 51 places in 21 governorates have been already provided so far for this purpose.
