Lebanese Environment Minister Nasser Yassin thanked Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the Egyptian people for their political stand supporting a ceasefire in Lebanon.
During a joint press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, he thanked President Sisi and the Egyptian people for their support to Lebanon.
He highlighted the historic ties between Egypt and Lebanon.
He noted that Lebanon considers Egypt as a gate for solving its crises, noting that Egypt has always backed Lebanon.
He highlighted the importance of diplomatic efforts to realize a ceasefire.
He commended the role played by Egypt and friendly countries to realize a ceasefire.
