The Egyptian Local Development Fund (LDF) agreed to finance as many as 464 small and micro projects with investments worth EGP 7.7 million until the end of March, announced Local Development Minister Hisham Amna.
The total amount of loans granted by the fund since the beginning of the current fiscal year reached 1,722 projects, with total investments worth EGP 29.4 million, added the minister.
The minister, meanwhile, noted that 1,172 projects were allocated to the women breadwinners, saying that the percentage of women’s projects financed by the fund reached 68 percent of the total projects.
