SHARM EL-SHEIKH – Former US secretary of state and US special presidential envoy for climate affairs John Kerry has expressed happiness at his participation in the World Youth Forum currently in session in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh.
Kerry’s statements came during a videoconference speech to a round table titled “The road from Glasgow to Sharm el Sheikh to confront climate changes” with the participation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and senior world officials.
He thanked President Sisi over his interest in the issue of the climate change and the Egyptian government’s commitment to sponsoring the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27).
He also thanked Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Minister of Environment Yasmine Fuoad whom he described as a solid partner in the Glasow conference in Britain.
