CAIRO – Hundreds of trucks loaded with humanitarian, relief and medical aid as well as fuel will enter all areas of the Gaza Strip during the humanitarian truce, an Egyptian official said.
The humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip includes a complete ceasefire and Egypt calls on all parties to adhere to the terms of the truce, the source told Al Qahera News channel Thursday night.
Under the truce, 13 women and children detained in the Gaza Strip shall be freed at 4 pm on Friday in exchange for releasing 39 Palestinian women and children who are imprisoned in Israel, the source said.
Egypt announces doubling the humanitarian aid and diesel brought into Gaza in addition to the delivery of natural gas to the enclave with the truce coming into force.
