Higher education ministry: Political leadership attaches importance to education process

Spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Adel Abdel Ghaffar said on Saturday that the political leadership gives special importance to developing higher education across the republic.
In statements to “Good Morning Egypt” program at Egypt”s Channel I, he said the the Upper Egyptian Governorate of Minya got the lion’s share of the higher education programs as a private university and a number of higher education institutes were established.
He added that such education facilities focus on the sectors of engineering, science and medicine in addition to human and social sectors the upper Egyptian governorates need.
