Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour on Tuesday asserted the depth of relations between Egypt and the UK especially in the domain of higher education and scientific research.
The minister pointed out to the time-honoured co-operation between the two countries, as well the prospective open vistas for furthering this co-operation.
Ashour made the remarks while receiving the British Ambassador in Cairo Gareth Bayley and accompanying delegation for talks on boosting joint co-operation and cross-border education.
The minister hailed the successful joint co-operation programs between the two sides recently, along with sealing a set of agreements and MoUs in the scientific research domain.
