The Cabinet media center denied reports circulated about reducing the value of ration cards’ subsidies per person for less than LE50.
In a statement Tuesday, the center said it communicated with the Supply and Internal Trade Ministry, which totally denied these reports, asserting that they are baseless and bare of truth.
No decision has been issued in this respect, it added.
The center, meanwhile, urged all media outlets to seek accuracy and objectivity before publishing news, advising them to contact bodies concerned so as to avoid sparking panic among the public.
