The National Press Authority, under the chairmanship of Abdel Sadek el-Shorbagi, announced on Sunday an overall change in board chairmen and editors-in-chief of state-run press institutions.

As for Dar al-Tahrir for Printing and Publishing, Tarek Lotfy took the helm of the board, succeeding Eyad Abul-Haggag.

Mohamed Fahmy retained his post as the editor-in-chief of The Egyptian Gazette and its weekly edition of the Egyptian Mail.

Ahmed Ayyoub was chosen as the editor-in-chief of al-Gomhuria newspaper while Ahmed Soliman was appointed as the editor-in-chief of al-Gomhuria Online, online Messa and quarterly al-Gomhuria book.

Mohamed el-Azzawy maintained his position as the editor-in-chief of Le Progrès égyptien and French online portal.

Sherif Salah Attia and Mohamed el-Abnodi kept hold of their posts as the chief editors of Horreyati magazine and Aqedati religious magazine respectively.

Mohamed Demerdash is still the editor-in chief of Al-Korra wa el-Mala’eb.
