Egypt’s Environment Minister, Ministerial Coordinator and COP27 Envoy Yasmine Fouad discussed Wednesday with UAE Minister of Environment and Climate Change Mariam Almheiri and her accompanying delegation ways of boosting current and future environment cooperation between the two countries in a number of environmental fields.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of Fouad’s participation in the Africa Summit for Climate in the Kenyan capital Nairobi as part of a high-level delegation, led by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli.
The summit is aiming to mitigate the bad impacts of climate change worldwide and particularly Africa.
During the meeting, Fouad underscored the depth of cooperation binding the Egyptian and UAE environment ministries to support environment action in the two countries .
In turn, Almheiri underlined the strength of relations and the constructive success between Egypt and the UAE.
