Flydubai has announced the launch of four new routes to Eastern Europe and the Baltic region, as the Emirati low-cost carrier continues to expand its global network. Starting from September 2025, the airline will operate direct flights to Chișinău (Moldova) and Iași (Romania), followed by flights to Riga (Latvia) and Vilnius (Lithuania) from December 2025.
With these additions, Flydubai’s European network will reach 35 destinations across 20 countries.
The new route to Iași marks Flydubai as the first UAE-based carrier to operate direct flights to Iași International Airport. The new Riga and Vilnius services also represent the airline’s debut entry into the Baltic states, enhancing connectivity between Dubai and previously underserved destinations.
“This expansion reflects our firm commitment to opening up underserved markets and facilitating the free flow of trade and tourism,” said Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of Flydubai. “We are proud to launch these new routes in Europe, which reinforce our role in connecting Dubai to emerging travel hubs across the continent.”
With the latest announcement, the number of new, previously underserved destinations launched by Flydubai has now exceeded 100, further cementing the airline’s strategy of tapping into niche markets.
