Egypt’s Minister of Environment Yasmin Fouad headed to the Danish capital Copenhagen Wednesday as part of Egypt’s official delegation under Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry to attend a ministerial conference on climate change on May 12 through 13 and hold non-official consultations between the British presidency of COP26 and Egypt’s presidency of COP27.
The gathering will discuss how to adapt to the climate change and mitigate effects resulting from the climate problems.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Environment said 50 ministers concerned with environment affairs will attend the event .
