Emigration minister probes Egyptian delegation's prospected visit to Canada 1 - Egyptian Gazette

Egyptian Minister of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriate’ Affairs Nabila Makram highlighted the importance of an Egyptian delegation’s scheduled visit to Canada in getting members of Egyptian community acquainted with the State’s efforts in the various domains.

The minister said, on the sidelines of a coordination meeting to discuss ongoing preparations for the Egyptian delegations’ upcoming visit to Canada, the visit is also meant to stand on expatriates’ demands and help in raising donations for the Egyptian national Initiative Haya Karima, according to a statement issued by the ministry on Wednesday.

A delegation from the Egyptian-Canadian Business Council, representatives of the Egyptian Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), along with a number of businessmen are expected to take part in the visit, with a view to bolstering trade ties between Egypt and Canada and upping the volume of bilateral trade exchange.

The visit aims to promote for investment opportunities in Egypt, expound looming investment opportunities in the Egyptian market, as well as luring investment factors that would help attract more investments to Egypt, according to the minister.

For his part, Chairman of the Egyptian-Canadian Business Council Moatz Raslan, who took part in the meeting, among others, voiced appreciation of all the minister’s efforts in preparation for the visit, along with her keenness on supporting the council’s activities.
