CAIRO — Egypt’s masters hockey team has departed for the Netherlands to compete in the 2026 World Masters Hockey (WMH) World Cup, which begins on July 22, aiming to deliver a performance worthy of the country’s standing in the sport.
The team has completed an intensive preparation program that included physical, technical and tactical training sessions to ensure peak readiness ahead of the tournament.
The squad features a number of former Egypt internationals who have represented the country at regional and international competitions, bringing extensive experience, a competitive spirit and a continued passion for the game.
The Egyptian Hockey Federation wished the team success in the tournament and expressed hope it would return with strong results that reflect the achievements and experience of Egypt’s veteran players.
