Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati has met Jordanian and Luxembourg counterparts on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
Abdel-Aati held talks with Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister, and Xavier Bettel, Luxembourg’s foreign minister, to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
The Egyptian top diplomat stressed keenness on further developing ties and enhancing co-operation across areas of mutual interest.
The discussions also covered the latest developments in the region, with Abdel-Aati outlining Egypt’s efforts to support regional security and stability.
Abdel-Aati stressed the need for coordinated regional and international action to de-escalate tensions and prioritisedialogue and diplomatic solutions to ongoing crises, according to the ministry.
