Egyptian Deputy Director of Food Export Council (FEC) Tameem el Dawy said that the exports of the food industries sector to France witnessed 15 per cent growth in 2021 recording $50 million in comparison to $43 million in 2020.
This came during a seminar organise by the FEC under the rubric “opportunities to develop Egyptian food industries exports” on the sidelines of SIAL Paris fair.
In statements on Wednesday, Dawy said that France comes in the 23rd rank on the list of the most important markets importing Egyptian processed food in 2021.
He said that there are 135 Egyptian companies exporting processed food to France in 2021.
