An Egyptian sterilisation robot presented the precautionary measures before President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during the inauguration of the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum (WYF) on Monday.
The measures, taken by the organising committee and medical insurance companies, aim at protecting participants against novel Covid-19.
President Sisi opened the forum today, with representatives from 196 countries attending.
The robot is disinfecting the venue’s facilities through waves, and will issue reports on the sanitary status of different spots. It is using state-of-the-art technologies.
Reactive Robots will provide attendees with the necessary information they need, and measure their body temperature, reporting those showing symptoms to organisers. Finally, Servant Robots will be offering sanitisers, and masks to the audience in halls.
The robot said the forum management is keen on adopting all preventive measures against coronavirus.
