The Egyptian Armed Forces have announced the admission requirements and minimum qualifying score for the Naval College as part of the October 2026 intake for the Egyptian Military Academy and military colleges.
The announcement was made during a press conference attended by General Ashraf Salem Zahir, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defence and Military Production, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Dr Diaa Rashwan, Minister of State for Information, and commanders of the Armed Forces’ main branches.
The Naval College will accept applicants holding the General Secondary Certificate, the Al-Azhar Secondary Certificate, or equivalent qualifications from the science stream only.
Applicants must obtain a minimum overall score of 65% and must not exceed 21 years of age as of 1 November 2026.
The programme lasts four academic years, and applicants are required to demonstrate proficiency in swimming as part of the admission requirements.
Graduates will be awarded a Bachelor of Military and Naval Sciences, in addition to a Bachelor of Political Science.
