Egypt vehemently condemned Tuesday’s terrorist attack on Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s convoy that left a number of persons dead and injured.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that Egypt roundly denounced this criminal act, and expressed its outright rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that aim at undermining security and stability in the Federal Republic of Somalia.According to the statement, Egypt also expressed its full solidarity with the Somali president.It also conveyed its sincere condolences to the Somali government and people over the victims of the attack, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, the statement said.
