As part of Egypt’s efforts to strengthen its strategic partnership with Somalia, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co‑operation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty met Somali Foreign Minister Abdussalam Abdi Ali on the sidelines of the 166th Arab League Council session in Cairo. The talks focused on enhancing bilateral relations and reviewing developments in Somalia.
Abdelatty praised the progress in Egypt–Somalia ties, reaffirming Egypt’s full support for Somalia’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and rejecting any unilateral measures that could undermine them.
