CAIRO – Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El Wazir received on Friday Tariq Al Ansari, Qatar’s Ambassador in Cairo and its permanent delegate to the Arab League.
They discussed cooperation between the two sides in the fields of transport and industry.
The minister hailed relation between the two countries and their people.
He underlined the importance of pushing forward cooperation between the two countries especially in the transport and industry domains.
He called for strengthening cooperation between his ministry and the Qatari Ministry of Transport especially in the the fields of ports in light of visits paid by officials of Qatari companies to East Port Said port and their desire to get a big share in the project.
Wazir called on Qatari investors to take part in additional investment projects and establish Qatari factories in Egypt.
For his part, the Qatari envoy expressed his country’s keenness on boosting cooperation with Egypt saying the embassy is ready to coordinate such cooperation between the two sides.
